EMILIA SPIRITO

PRODUCTION DESIGNER | ART DIRECTOR | IATSE LOCAL 829

As an NYC based production designer with 15 years of experience in film and television production, my work has spanned the industry from short art films and indie features to commercials and long running network television shows. Career highlights include being a member of the Emmy winning art department of RUSSIAN DOLL S1, bringing to life the surreal world of George Saunders’ SEA OAK, and art directing the A24 feature A DIFFERENT MAN, which premiered at Sundance and was selected for competition at Berlinale. Recent projects include period work on Craig Brewer’s SONG SUNG BLUE and Ira Sachs’ THE MAN I LOVE, which is in competition at Cannes 2026.

As an active member of IATSE Local 829, I have served as a member of the majors contract negotiation committee during two contract cycles. As a voice in the room advocating for labor, my particular focus is on pay equity.
